If you have a larger space then in a few instances you do not necessarily need to fill the entire space with your choice of cooker.
But if the cooker is not at the end of a worktop run, or if you are staying with the current worktop and it falls short of the cooker position [assuming you first thought of a slot-in cooker which is smaller than the space]... then a cooker which fills the gap entirely seems to be your only option.
There is a choice of gas or electric, or dual fuel... and also a choice of single oven or double oven to be made, within the size constraints already decided upon above.
Once these decisions have been made... the actual choice of brand is the next decision to be made. Do you already have a favourite brand? Is price your final and overriding concern? Remember buying on the internet can achieve a significant saving over high street prices.
At 24-7 Electrical you can find my best buy electric 60 cm cooker. The Creda Concept C366EW boasts 2 ovens, both with Credaclean liners - the main oven is fan assisted, and the hob ceramic.
My second choice for an electric 60 cm cooker can also be found at 24-7 Electrical... it is a Belling, a cooker brand which I have relied upon many times and which has never let me down. The Belling Format 644 is an electric cooker with double oven.
At Be-direct, our newest supplier, you will find a vast choice of items in their cooking section. They stock the Zanussi ZCM531X and also a Hotpoint C150EWH which is a twin cavity cooker with catalytic liners. There are plenty of representatives from Belling, Zanussi, Beaumatic, and Stoves to name but a few of the popular brands... and there is plenty of choice of gas, electric, and dual fuel models in various sizes.

I have chosen six cookers, two from each of three separate brands.
The Zanussi ZCM531X and a ZCM611X can be obtained from the Co-op. Special offers, VAT, and delivery charges need to be taken into account when deciding which store to choose to service your slot-in cooker order.
There are two representatives of the Belling brand, one which is featured at 24-7 Electricals, above, the other a gas cooker... first Belling Format 644, the 60 cm electric double oven model... then we have Belling Format G 744, also 60 cm and with a double oven - but a Gas model.
Lastly at the Co-op Electrical Shop I have chosen Stoves as the other brand I am recommending here, both slot-in cookers are 60 cm wide... first the Stoves 600GDOa, is Gas with a double oven... and then the Stoves 600FDOA, is a dual fuel model with double oven.
