Spin Dryers
There isn't a great deal to be said about spin dryers... they just spin the excess water from your washing.
One could be useful for getting more water out of thick items like towels and some bedding items, or for emergencies... should you have a washing machine which is prone to breaking down.
Some unreliable brands tend to do so more than twice a year... I was very lucky with my last one it managed to last somewhere in the region of 10 years before it gave up the ghost! What is more, it never saw a repair person in all that time!
Spin dryers are a relatively cheap appliance which does a basic job and is normally very reliable for many years. Being small, like a large pedal bin, they can fit in any small space under the worktop, or be kept in a utility room or garage.
My mother kept hers in the garage, plugged it into the electric in there, took the washing basket out to it and either took the washing in to air in the airing cupboard, or put it on the line for a blow afterwards... she found it to be a boon for many years of trouble-free service.

Included below are the general comments on this laundry section which have migrated from our 'Washing Machines' page...
[General comments on this laundry section... the size ... or lack of size! ... of your kitchen and/or utility area will probably be the chief influence in your choice of appliances. Modern washing machines now have a far superior spin speed, and, of the ones we recommend, the cheaper model has a 1200 spin speed, the other a 1400 spin speed... so your washing will be fairly reasonable (some items could be about ready to iron) and this, in turn, could affect your other choices. Could you get away with just airers and a washing line? Or have you considered a dehumidifier? A Spin Dryer... will work efficiently, is cheap... the main advantage is that it is only the size of a large pedal bin, so can be put away under the worktop in a small space. A Tumble Dryer... much more expensive for a decent quality item, do a good job, another full size kitchen appliance to find space for. A Washer/Dryer... instead of a washing machine... disadvantages, if it goes wrong then you have no back up in either the washing or drying department... and of course being a more complicated piece of machinery, it IS more likely to break down! The only advantage is that it will be a space saving item.]

just stock the S202PW by Creda.
At Be-direct you can obtain all four spin dryers... the Creda S102GW, and S202PW, and the Zanussi SD2811W, and SD2822W.
Spin Dryers
The actual spin dryers which are available all have a 1 year guarantee, and we have a representative of gravity draining and of pump draining for both the Creda and the Zanussi machines.
Pump draining is considered a far more convenient method by most of the users who I have checked with. The spin dryers which use this method of draining are the more expensive top of the range models.
For Creda there is the S102GW gravity draining model and the S202PW which is pump draining... they both have 2 carrying handles, a 2800 RPM spin speed, stainless steel drum, and hold a 9 lb., [4 kg] load.
The Zanussi are the SD2811W gravity draining model and the SD2822W pump draining one... they both have hand grips, safety lid mechanism, stainless steel drum, 2800 RPM spin speed, and hold a 9 lb., [4 kg] load.
